Being a much simpler guy, I'd simply say that I wasn't all that impressed with CamContact.com, there isn't anything extraordinary about the site. On the other hand, it really doesn't need to be extraordinary in order to be a good place to lay down your hat, or rather – cam.
The idea behind the site is similar to iFriends, CamContacts.com created a virtual adult community for amateurs who want to play with each other online. The site is divided into adult and non-adult sections, but we're going to ignore the non-adult chat, since there's no skin on that side. The adult section has all the typical categories: Babes, Hardcore, Transgender, Couples, Fetish, Matures, Boys, Video Playback, and Escorts.
Keep in mind that registering for the site is free, but like many other sites, you'll need to provide credit card details in order to verify your age. Nothing is charged until you buy your first credits though.
So they got something like 47,189 registered webcam models with around a thousand online at any given time. Each model has his/her own profile page. It's very basic, just the dry info that you wouldn't actually care to know.
Chats start at around $0.65 a minute, and up depending on the model. That's about as cheap as you're gonna get anywhere. Only amateurs can afford to charge rates like this, and the result is not consistent. You're gonna find a lot of teasers and time wasters here, but there are also some red-hot bargains. All in all I would say that this was a pretty decent site. It's no head turner but it's useful on a lonely night.
